  abstract     = {The sequential ordering of the state of the integration maturities of a sample of Trans-European supply chains provides valuable insight into the trajectory of change manageme nt. Evidence from a sample of U.S. and European supply chains is used to test out Graham Steven's (1989) four-phase supply chain integration change model. Steven's model is further expanded and defined as a process maturity model by recent research (McCormack 2001). This paper provides empirical evidence that implementing practices that increase supply chain integration maturity reduces uncertainty and leads to improved business performance.}
