Abstract
Denis Royston Towill sadly passed away on 29th August 2015 after suffering from a heart attack. He was a Professor at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He was previously a Lucas Professor and a University of Wales Research Professor. Professor Towill leaves behind his wife Christine Towill (née Forrester), children Edwin, Jonathan and Rachel and seven grandchildren. While for a number of years he suffered from ill health, he still enjoyed a productive academic agenda and lived a rich life, benefiting from the inspiration and friendship of a large circle of friends and colleagues.
